Palletline has opened a 40,000 sq ft site at Perivale Park in west London to boost service levels into the centre of the city.

The site will allow Palletline to consolidate freight for the London area achieving an efficient, cost effective and congestion-beating solution. It is anticipated that the site will also be used as a drop point by European hauliers for onward distribution of freight throughout the UK via the Palletline network.

Perivale Park is close to all major capital motorway routes. The site has 24 hour security, warehousing, transhipment facilities and office space, together with additional accommodation which Palletline plans to develop into a training centre delivering a range of training services for Member Companies.

Managing director Kevin Buchanan said: “Recognition of the individual issues posed by collections and deliveries in London has prompted us to structure a tailored solution for the South East.”
