Driver CPC consortium launches to aid CPC roll-out

A Driver CPC Consortium has been launched, aimed at helping logistics companies to implement in-house Driver CPC training.

More than 20 big-name companies have signed up including: Bibby Distribution, Tesco, MAN Trucks, Bulmers Transport, TM Logistics and Home Delivery Network.

System Training will head the consortium, whose members will work with a team of training experts; who will assist in the development and implementation of a Driver CPC programme within their business.

Members will be given access to a wide variety of pre-JAUPT approved training materials, and will be backed up by a provision of “Train the Trainer” support required for each company’s own instructors.

The Consortium has been specially developed for medium and large-scale transport and logistics operations and major retail businesses operating their own transport fleets that have, or wish to develop, an in-house training capability.
