More Isuzus for Reynolds

Waltham Abbey based catering company Reynolds has taken delivery of 31 Isuzu Forward 7.5t rigids taking the number of Isuzus in the fleet to almost 70.

Working out of the five Reynolds distribution depots nationwide and with an estimated working life of between 5 and 7 years, the Isuzu’s are worked hard on intensive daily delivery routes involving between 25 and 30 drops per truck journey.

The company added he first Isuzu to its reefer fleet in 2003 and company now predominantly specifies Isuzu for its 7.5t distribution truck requirements. Some 45 per cent of the 164 strong Reynolds vehicle fleet runs at 7.5 tonnes.

Commercial director Paul Collins says, ”Originally we were attracted by the Isuzu’s payload potential for our intensive multi-drop distribution routes. Over the years though, the Isuzu’s have given us additional benefits, as they have proved to be extremely reliable and they offer really low operational running costs, all of which is backed by a superb working relationship between the two companies.”
