Software first for Logistics Link

C3 Solutions has chosen Logistics Link South to present, for the first time in the UK, its web-based booking system for efficient goods delivery and pick up, alongside its award winning yard management system.

And one of the longest established companies on the market Toyota Material Handling UK’s will be presenting its comprehensive range of Toyota and BT materials handling equipment, designed to meet evolving customer needs and offers solutions to cover any application.

Logistics Link South takes place on 15-16th February at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey. Exhibitors include:

Automation: Knapp, the automated handling systems specialist, will be showing solutions and services for warehouse automation. “We’ll be promoting our innovative range of equipment and software,” said Craig Rollason, the company’s UK head of sales and marketing, “and talking to visitors about how automation can improve their distribution processes.”

The company will be highlighting the benefits of its OSR Shuttle range. Combining shuttle-based storage with pick-to-light stations, the OSR Shuttle system achieves up to six times the rate of totes in/out than a traditional ASRS, while having about 20 per cent less footprint and using less than 10 per cent of the energy consumption.

Transport management: Fargo Systems will be returning to Logistics Link in 2011 with a new enhanced version of its TOPS transport management system. Since exhibiting at the show previously, Fargo has extended the reach of its offering with a completely integrated mobile telematics solution comprising full order despatch, real-time data and GPS updates, and full electronic proof-of-delivery signature capability.

And Visitors to Imtech’s stand can meet Rob Gibney, UK country manager, to find out about the new software systems recently launched in the UK by the company: LBASE transport and warehouse management and cargoNET express and parcels logistics software.

Warehouse management: DeltaWMS is to highlight its latest DeltaDashboard supply chain performance, warehouse process improvement software. DeltaDashboard provides easy-to-read, highly graphical KPI displays in real time and can be used with any supply chain or warehouse management system.

Optimisation: Ortec is to exhibit its advanced planning and optimisation solutions at the show. Visitors will also have the chance to win an iPad by entering Ortec’s business card prize draw.

Routeing: Optrak will be launching the latest version of its vehicle routeing software and real-time fleet tracking and customer service add-on, Optrak Realisation.

Supply chain:  @Logistics Reply UK will be presenting a complete range of advanced services and solutions for clients in retail, fashion, food, consumer products, automotive spares and manufacturing, 3PLs and telecoms.

Some of the UK’s leading supply chain and logistics professionals will be presenting case studies at Logistics Link South.

Presentations will offer valuable insights from some of Europe’s most successful logistics operations that were finalists at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2010. Speakers include:
