GB Railfreight has launched a distribution network, interhubGB, as part of its strategy to move into Europe since its acquisition by Eurotunnel last year.
The integrated road and rail freight service links London and the South East, and also Europe via the intermodal hub at Dourges, near Lille, with a daily connection to Daventry.
The interhubGB offers a single load rail haul service between London Barking and Manchester Trafford Park in either direction, Monday to Saturday. It also provides 24 hour operational support office.
The service caters for volumes from single boxes to multiple or train loads, and is managed by GBRf and 4Rail Logistics, a logistics and IT platform firm.
