Lawnmower manufacturer Hayter has appointed Norbert Dentressangle to distribute its to retailers across the UK.
To reduce costs and improve service, the company turned to Norbert Dentressangle to provide flexible transport via its national shared-user pallet network.
Under the contract, Norbert makes daily pallet collections of lawnmower machinery, from Hayter’s manufacturing facility at Spellbrook, near Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire.
Next day deliveries of consolidated loads are then made to the company’s retail stockists, which include regional chains and independents situated all over the country.
Hayter was acquired by US based The Toro Company in 2005.
