Kerry Logistics, the Hong Kong based forwarding and logistics group, has acquired two freight forwarding companies in the UK: Bergen Freight Forwarding based in Manchester, and Regency Forwarding based in headquarters in Yorkshire.
Bergen specialises in sea freight imports from India and the Far East. Regency has its main office near Leeds Bradford Airport and focuses on imports from the US and Asia and exports to international destinations.
Gary Wilcock, Kerry’s managing director Europe, said: “Bergen and Regency will strengthen the Kerry Logistics’ network in the UK and across Europe as well as extending our reach into the UK’s major manufacturing regions in the North of England.”
