New operations VP for mail group
Spring Global Mail, a joint venture between Royal Mail and PostNL, has appointed Rudy van Rillaer vice president global operations.
The company specialises in cross border mail distribution, and this appointment follows a review of the firm’s operation.
A key recommendation of the review is to concentrate operational activities into two European hubs, Belgium and the UK, closing the hub in Cologne, Germany. The German country team will remain and continue to serve our German customers.
Van Rillaer has been working for Spring Global Mail since its inception, and his new role will involve implementing the project’s recommendation.
DHL extends CFO’s board mandate
Deutsche Post DHL has appointed its chief financial officer Lawrence Rosen to the corporate board of management for another five years.
Rosen will continue to be in charge of finance as well as the company’s Global Business Services.
Goodman joins MIQ Logistics
MIQ Logistics has hired Kyle Goodman as its business development manager, responsible for strategic account development and new business.
Goodman was previously vice president of business development at Inland Star Distribution Centers, and was also serving as chair of the advanced logistics and distribution cluster within Fresno’s Regional Jobs Initiative in California.
