Logistics firm Torque is adding a pre-retail dry-cleaning service to its specialist garment processing, called Ozone cleaning.
Torque reckons the process does not use artificial chemicals, leaves no residue, and eliminates odours, moulds, fungus, bacteria, viruses, allergens and other volatile organic compounds.
David Scott, head of warehousing and distribution said: “The industry has been delayed in adapting to this type of issue, but has recently been introduced to Ozone, which has been embraced and we are now seeing a real surge in the demand for the treatment.
