Bristan, the supplier of bathroom taps, showers and accessories, has renewed its delivery contract with TNT Express UK.
Bristan was initially seeking to streamline its distribution operation by sourcing a single partner that could manage a high volume of shipments every month through consolidated, next-day delivery before noon. The key objective was to improve efficiency across its supply chain and improve connectivity with its customers via a single, reliable distribution channel.
TNT provides a dedicated account support system, and designed a bespoke IT system to simplify electronic data flow to increase the accuracy and exchange of information.
Richard Russell, Bristan’s distribution and logistics manager, said: “Delivery scored highly in our 2011 customer satisfaction survey – condition of goods on delivery, speed of delivery and on time delivery scored highly, so we are pleased to be able to extend the existing contract with TNT for a further period.”
