The supply chain lessons of the London Olympics will come under scrutiny at 1-2-1 Supply Chain Excellence Summit which takes place in London on 17th October.
Ian Wainwright, road freight programme manager at Transport for London, will look at the issues involved in delivering to complex urban areas the lessons learned from the Olympic experience. He will also look forward to the next steps in servicing a world city.
The summit will also include a session on supplier relationships. Gail Roberts, head of supply chain at the Royal Mint will look at the issues involved in rethinking supplier relationships.
The summit includes a series of 1-2-1 consultancy sessions giving delegates the opportunity to discuss requirements with solutions providers, as well as informal networking opportunities with your peers over coffee breaks.
It takes place at the London Hilton Metropole in London.
