Track and trace for low value parcels

GFS has teamed up with P2P in order to launch an overseas tracked packet service which they claim will also increase the visibility in shipments of lower value purchases.

Trak Pak will enable track and trace for packages up to 5kgs throughout Europe, North America, Australasia and the Far East in line with current priority mail schedules.

Neil Cotty, GFS’s managing director, said: “The growth of e-commerce has increased the choice of product available to consumers and the geographical range of retailers from which they can buy.
from buying from overseas retailers by the cost of premium delivery options or their inability to track a purchase despatched via a more cost effective standard service.”
