House of Fraser has taken on Stibo Systems to implement its proprietary STEP data management system.
This is in order to consolidate all product information into a single repository where it can be managed effectively by merchandisers and product managers. The STEP platform is expected to deliver accurate and consistent information to all sales channels.
“Stibo System’s solution will give our customers a better all-round experience both online and in-store, with easy access to rich product information, helping the consumer to make more informed purchasing decisions. In addition, it will serve to streamline our operations and cut down the time previously required to manage our wide range of products,” said Andy Harding, director of eCommerce at House of Fraser.
House of Fraser has 60 department stores throughout the UK with over 1 million products available in store and online.
