Today’s the day for Logistics Link

The Logistics Link South exhibition opens today at Sandown Park with many of Europe’s leading materials handling and IT companies exhibiting.

Advanced Business Solutions  is launching its end-to-end supply chain management system.Advanced’s SCM is a comprehensive enterprise resource planning solution that includes a financial management system (OpenAccounts), an integrated HR and payroll system (OpenHR and OpenPeople), a supply chain system (OpenLogistix) and a warehouse management system, StockTrack PLUS (from Advanced’s recent acquisition of ATMS).

OpenLogistix and StockTrack PLUS ensure visibility, compliance and efficiency through the entire supply chain process.

Simon Fowler, managing director of Advanced Business Solutions (Commercial Division) said: “Our new end-to-end SCM solution provides organisations with one of the most flexible and functionality-rich ERP systems on the market.”

“By integrating financial management, HR, payroll and comprehensive supply chain management functionality into a single solution, this significantly streamlines an organisation’s operations while cutting costs. Also, unlike most other ERP systems on the market, the solution’s flexibility means that it can be tailored to an organisation’s specific needs.”

Logistics Link South is at Sandown Park from12th to 13th February.

Visitors will be able to compare the latest products and see for themselves how they can be used to optimise their operations on a variety of live demonstrations, either at the live demo areas, or on individual stands.

A buyers only networking lounge will offer the chance for visitors to compare notes, and have a chat with peers.
Women in Logistics will be holding a networking meeting on the 13 February at 11.00am.

The WiL networking session will be followed by a talk on using social media for logisticians, delivered by industry expert, and WiL founder Ruth Waring, recently appointed to the CILT board.
Business solution provider Infor will be hosting a seminar looking at how mobile technology can help warehouse operations be smarter, faster, leaner, integrated.
