Virgin Media has installed the SageQuest enterprise fleet management system into its 2,600 installation, maintenance and service vehicles in the UK.
Executive director – access Maurice Daw said Virgin chose the system, which works through a web browser, because it highlighted opportunities for fuel saving as well as offering the potential to improve customer service.
A dashboard bespoke to Virgin’s KPIs means staff can see immediately the greatest opportunity for operational improvement. Daw said: “We have been able to replace assumptions with facts. SageQuest gives us an unbiased, real-time view of what is going on in the field with instant access to data, scaled so that any number of users can access the system without slowing or crashing.”
