Prologic is providing managed IT services for home textile supplier Turner Bianca. The five-year contract covers all of Turner Bianca’s IT needs with emphasis on warehousing and supply chain management. One of Turner Bianca’s key evaluation parameters was development time, and as it was already implementing Prologic’s integrated IT solution (CIMS), the company could almost benefit immediately from additional system functionality, such as improved barcode-based warehouse management. Turner Bianca is also taking advantage of Prologic’s CIMS Vision Prologic’s advanced management reporting tool.

ILOG’s Real Time Optimisation (RTO) is offering an Extension Solution which gives manufacturers the opportunity to cost-effectively tailor its installed off-the-shelf software applications to address the needs of their business. Combining ILOG’s business rule management systems (BRMS), optimisation and visualisation product suites with its Professional Services to deploy industry-specific best practices, the Extension Solution provides an alternative to expensive customisation projects or complicated best-of-breed implementations. The RTO Extension Solution and Practice extends the functionality of supply chain management and enterprise resource planning systems, with an initial emphasis on transport planning and real-time scheduling.
