Kuehne + Nagel has appointed Reinhard Lange successor to chief executive Klaus Herms. He will take over in June next year.

NYK Logistics has appointed Bryan Jones business development director. Previously, he held a variety of senior positions at Exel and most recently at Gist.

Dean Hulse has been appointed group operations director of the grocery supply chain specialist, Baylis Logistics where he will be responsible for warehousing and transport.

Tony Davis has become general manager of Atchison Topeka’s tanker division. Previously he spent four years at Unilever.

Mick Scarlett, founder and chief executive of Palletforce, has left the business for personal reasons. Chairman Iain McAulay will assist until a new chief executive is appointed.

TDG has recruited four people to its solutions design and business development teams. Clare Galloway and Ian Jackson join as solutions managers. Mike Sacker joins from DHL Exel to generate 4th party opportunities. Rob Hutton joins TDG working with steel manufacturer Corus.
