Psion Teklogix names UK MD

Psion Teklogix has appointed Paul Westmoreland managing director in the UK.
Westmoreland has worked in a variety of markets, including the finance, agriculture and more recently within the electronic and auto-ID sectors at companies such as Itronix.
He said of his appointment: “Wireless data capture and networking features a host of innovations such as voice technology and RFID that offer ever more efficient communications across networks and enterprises. For our customers this means improved operations, accuracy, productivity and profitability.
“The challenge for Psion Teklogix is to continue to lead the way in offering these benefits in devices that are as functional and rugged yet also as compact as possible in order to make the mobile worker’s job as simple and effective as it can be.
