New MD for DAF Trucks

Ray Ashworth will step up as managing director of DAF Trucks on 31st March 2009. He will take over from Stuart Hunt, who has held the position for seven years, and is set to retire at the end of March.
Previously, Ashworth has held several senior management positions, including director, commercial operations, where he contributed substantially to the success of DAF in the UK and Ireland.
Mark Oldbury will take over Ashworth’s current role of director, truck sales. He has been fleet sales director of the company since 2002.
