Brixton has secured its first letting at its double-decker warehouse X2 in Heathrow.

Units 1, 2 and 3, totalling 82,683 sq ft have been let to cargo support services company Airworld Services on a five-year lease. The transaction equates to a headline rental of £13.61 per sq ft with the equivalent of 12 months rent-free.

CBRE, King Sturge and Swire Associates advised.

Also at Heathrow Swiss Post International has taken Units 11 and 12 totalling 42,018 sq ft at Brixton's Heathrow Estate on a short-term lease until 2015 at a rent of £11.80 per sq ft with a three-month, rent-free period.

Commenting on these lettings, Steve Lee, Brixton's operations director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Airworld to X2 and Swiss Post to The Heathrow Estate. These lettings demonstrate a good level of activity in the market despite the difficult economic climate. In particular the transactions demonstrate our ability to work with our existing customers to help them plan and meet their space needs."
