Nexen Lift Trucks has launched the X-Range of counterbalanced forklifts trucks comprising seven models with capacities from 2.0 to 3.5 tonnes.

The FDX diesel 2.5, 3 and 3.5 tonne units are powered by either Kubota or Yanmar engines, while the LPG 2, 2.5, 3 and 3.5 tonne capacities are offered with Nissan or GM power units.

The X-Range feature a one-piece chassis and low centre of gravity for good torsional rigidity and stability and are also equipped with Smart Dash, a full engine monitoring system which trigger both audible and visual advance warnings via a LCD display unit covering all major engine functions.

The system will automatically switch off the engine if any problem is not rectified within a specified time.

The X-Range is available in three packages – standard, Optima and Optima Plus – with a choice of drivetrain configurations.

Optima offers a split powershift transmission and a controlled deceleration system, heavy-duty cooling system and modulated control for fast changes of direction.

Optima Plus also includes an anti-rollback system, oil cooled disc brakes, an advanced inching control and soft-touch electronic hydraulics.

Trucks are manufactured at Nexen’s production facility in Taiwan to European standards and are supported by a worldwide dealer network offering a comprehensive spare parts programme.

Nexen also offers a standard two year 2,000 hour warranty, which as an option can be extended to three or five years.
