The Malcolm Group has ordered 130 trailers from The Cartwright Group to carry its new livery.

Cartwright, the Altrincham-based trailer manufacturer and bodybuilder, is working to an updated specification for Malcolm’s 2009 trailers. Malcolm is receiving the 13.6 metre, tri-axle curtainsiders at the rate of ten a week. The trailers all use the Cartwright aerodynamic system and have full side skirts to improve fuel efficiency. They will be used in Malcolm’s logistics fleet.

All of the trailers feature the new Malcolm livery, with the Malcolm Group corporate blue on the curtainside and use of the new logistics logo on the back doors.

Andrew Malcolm, chief executive of The Malcolm Group said: “‘This investment is key to the growth of our business and it keeps our fleet up to date and as environmentally friendly and efficient as possible. As an environmentally responsible company we aim to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment and help our customers do the same.’’
