Despatch rate boost for Past Times

Retail group Past Times says it has achieved a 300 per cent increase in despatch rate and eliminated shipping errors after moving over to MetaPack, the multi-carrier management platform.
MetaPack sits between the retailer’s Venda order management system and its three carriers, automatically translating orders into deliveries while communicating tracking statuses with little manual intervention.
Adrian Spence, head of ecommerce, said: “The implementation was very smooth, the despatch rate has increased dramatically from our old manual process by at least 300 per cent and any shipping errors have been eliminated.”
MetaPack is integrated into 23 carriers and 590 different services, meaning that once the system is in place, adding new carriers and services requires no further capital outlay and can be done in minutes.
