Pall-Ex appoints partner in Poland

Pall-Ex's operation in Poland, Pall-Ex Polska, is set to be fully operational by May 2013 following the appointment of logistics operator KMC Services as its national partner.

The network will operate from a central hub in the ?ód? region. Pall-Ex Polska will be Pall-Ex's second 'last-mile' network in Eastern Europe, following the launch of Pall-Ex Romania in December 2011.

Katarzyna Chabinka, CEO of Pall-Ex Polska, said: "In Romania, we have already seen how the network model has helped to drive down distribution costs for manufacturers, importers and distributors. Poland is one of the larger territories in the region and has managed to weather to Euro-crisis better than most within Europe."

Pall-Ex Polska is Pall-Ex's Fifth European network, joining Pall-Ex Romania, Pall-Ex Italia and Pall-Ex Iberia, and more recently Pall-Ex France.

Pall-Ex is currently seeking partners in Germany, Scandinavia and Turkey, as well as other areas of the continent and beyond.
