New chief operating officer for Bibby

Bibby Distribution has recruited Paul Kavanagh from Peel Ports to take on the role of chief operating officer
He will be based at Bibby’s head office at Duke Street in Liverpool and report to chief executive officer Iain Speak.
Kavanagh spent four years as managing director of Peel’s Medway division where he was responsible for operation of two ports and a short sea shipping operation in Rotterdam.
Previously Kavanagh has held senior positions with NYK Logistics, Christian Salvesen and P&O Ferrymasters.
Speak said: “Paul has the skills and experience to strategically develop and implement new services offered by the company, and I am confident that he will add real strength to the current executive team at Bibby Distribution.”
