Davies Turner is relocating one of its key regional distribution centres to a new facility at Cumbernauld in Scotland.

Derek Craig, Davies Turner's manager in central Scotland said: "This is a much needed expansion of our surface freight operations in Scotland as our existing depot was already working to full capacity."

All existing surface freight operations are being moved to the nearby site, which is located at the M73/A80 junction - between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Last year, Davies Turner Air Cargo relocated its regional HQ in Scotland to a new office and larger warehouse facility at Glasgow airport.

In addition, it opened a new branch at Edinburgh, as well as just South of the Border, in Newcastle.
