Land Rover expansion

NYK Logistics has won a further contract with Land Rover, to manage supply of components to point of fit, on the Defender and Range Rover production lines at Solihull.

Having implemented an inbound supply chain operation for all Land Rover models and an internal logistics operation to feed the Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery production lines, NYK says the new contract represents a significant extension to the scope of its activities within the plant and the next phase in the development of Ford's Premier Automotive Group and NYK's strategic partnership.
