Scania’s EGR, Euro 5 engine is now ready for the market, starting with the five and six cylinder inline engines. The engine, which took five years to develop, will gradually replace the current one over the next few years.

The company has also developed the Scania Complete Cutainsider, which will be previewed at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April. It is available in four-wheel format and a selection of EGR, Euro 4/5 engines can be specified.
Other options include a Ratcliff Tukaway tail-lift, which has a lifting capacity of 1,500kg. It’s suitable for use with either wide slat or double flush fitting rear doors.
