Rubicon releases Enterprise II to UK

Rubicon Computer Systems has released Enterprise II, a real-time, integrated and modular Enterprise Resource Planning system into the UK market.
The system, which operates in multi- currency, multi-company and multi-site modes, comprises four primary system areas – trading, operations, finance, and ancillaries.
These system segments are integrated with each other, and are also broken down into more than 40 functional modules and utilities.
Most of the individual modules are optional, but all are integrated so the system can be implemented gradually, and the functionality expanded.
The system integrates with technologies such as RFID, Barcoding, Radio Frequency Radio Data Terminals for the fully integrated Warehouse Management module, formal EDI and XML interfaces for system-to-system trading, Touchscreen Technology for shop floor data capture within works order processing, the use of PDAs for mobile quality control, image manipulation and Optical Character Recognition for Product Specifications and integrated Document Image Processing.
The primary functionality extends from – real-time sales order processing with full credit control to auto EDI order entry; product procurement by consignment to QC of raw material and finished product; consignment profitability to cash and account sales; sales forecasting to real-time warehouse management stock control (including all packaging material); telesales/call list order taking to packhouse works order packing and converting; customer-based web order entry to total outloading auditability, proof of delivery, and invoicing.
Enterprise II provides full traceability from raw material consignment to finished product dispatch, with the ability to auto-calculate all service charges such as receipting, storage, BoM related packing/converting, handling, labelling, FOM, for any third party owned product and/or stock.
