Plastic deal for Agility

Plastics company Borouge has awarded a service contract to Agility (Abu Dhabi) to build its logistics hub in Shanghai, China, along with a ten-year deal which will see the company providing local logistics services for Borouge customers in Asia.
Agility will undertake the design and development of the Borouge Compound Manufacturing Unit and Shanghai Logistics Hub, ensuring sufficient infrastructure, storage facilities, packaging and distribution services to accommodate products dispatched from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Both developments are expected to be operational in 2010. Once up and running Agility is expected to handle and distribute around 600,000 tonnes of polyolefins from the hub each year.
