Pallet rental and pooling company IPP Logipal has expanded its UK operation by opening two additional pallet depots in East Kilbride in Scotland and Royston in Hertfordshire, increasing its total locations to seven.
Both facilities will initially carry stock of up to 20,000 pallets, with each designed to handle a throughput of up to one million pallets a year.
IPP Logipal distributes, sorts and collects pallets used by manufacturers to supply products to retailers throughout the UK and Ireland.
The move is part of the company’s ongoing strategic development strategy as tries to enhance services and meet increasing customer demand.
Phil Storer (pictured), managing director of IPP Logipal, said: “Expanding our UK operation ensures we can continue providing a cost effective solution for manufacturers who appreciate a simple, hassle-free, high quality pallet service.”
