Dell consolidates with Inovis

Dell has streamlined its global supply chain by consolidating more than 200 servers, 20 networks and 20 data centre racks into one cloud system thanks to Inovis.
The system, which supports Dell’s internal partner processing, supports five million transactions a day across 1,900 partners in 30 countries, including global manufacturers and retailers.
Inovis has helped Dell reduce partner on-boarding time from months to days, as well as improving transaction visibility, providing the integration of help desks and managing SaaS applications.
Inovis used standardised Dell PowerEdge servers in its data centres, enabling fifteen to one server consolidation, 30 per cent faster performance and savings of £149,000 ($233,000).
