John West renews £13.4m contract with Ceva

Tinned fish brand John West has renewed its logistics contract with Ceva in a deal worth £13.4m (16.9m euros).

Under the three year deal, Ceva will collect cleared cargo from Felixstowe for storage at its Mendlesham shared user site. It also provides customs clearance and warehousing  including rework activity along with management of road transport across the UK.

John West supply chain director John Tomlinson said: “During John West and Ceva’s five year partnership, the supply chain management company has effectively expanded its range of services, enabling John West to focus on its passion – developing outstanding fish products for consumers. The renewal of the contract ensures that John West will continue to benefit from Ceva’s logistics expertise now and in the future.”
