Expert Logistics plumps for Microlise fleet system

Expert Logistics, which specialises in delivering white and brown goods, is taking on Microlise’s Fleet Performance solution on 139 vehicles within its fleet.

The Microlise Tracking Unit is fitted to vehicles, including a connection to the FMS databus. The MTU3 unit then generate real-time data about the vehicle’s location and usage which allows customers to then target improvements in both fuel economy and safe driving.

Driver performance and safety are the key reasons for implementing the system and Expert hopes to achieve at least five per cent savings on fuel.
