Barloworld invests £3m in rental fleet

Barloworld Handling has invested £3m in 150 new Hyster forklifts for its short term hire fleet.
It said it has seen strong demand across all sectors of industry from customers looking to supplement their core forklift fleet with additional units at peak times.
The new trucks include more than 100 Fortens lift trucks and 30 electric warehousing trucks.
The deal takes Barloworld’s investment in the short term hire fleet to £6m in the past 12 months.
