Chinese energy company picks DSV for UK logistics

Chinese energy company GoodWe Solar Inverter has signed an agreement with DSV to manage its logistics in the UK.
Services include logistics, bonded warehousing and product delivery in UK and Ireland.
GoodWe, which is based in Suzhou, designs and manufactures inverters for solar energy.
Jiang Deming, director of marketing and sales, said: “With the further advance in European markets, the contradiction between the increasing demand of our customers and the lagging logistics system is becoming more and more obvious. GoodWe is committed to be the world’s leading inverter supplier. To realise this, we have to work hard on improving customer service so as to create a good brand image and get the exciting customer feedback.”
The company plans to learn from its experience in the UK market and use it in developing its presence in other European markets.
DSV Air & Sea is responsible for shipping GoodWe’s products from China to the UK while DSV Solutions operates the bonded warehousing and delivers service.
