Dachser acquires Spanish forwarder

Dachser has acquired the Spanish air and sea freight forwarder Transunion subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
Transunion has nine offices in Spain the and is represented in Turkey, Argentina, Peru and Mexico. Sales in 2012 were about €95m.
“The acquisition of the complementary Transunion network allows us to offer our customers even better access to the Latin American market as well as an excellent presence in mainland Spain and Turkey,” said Thomas Reuter, Dachser managing director responsible for the Air & Sea Logistics business.
