Job Description
- Category planning to ensure the department develops in line with industry best practice.
- Effective delivery of savings and the mechanism to track them.
- Internal stakeholder management and the selling of procurement values to the business.
- Supplier relationship building including high level negotiation and risk management.
- Leadership of the category team.
- Project management support and accountability.
- Compliance and contract responsibility.
- The specific area of spend includes - Insurance policies & major card providers, including Visa/MasterCard.
You will have a proven career in procurement. Essential requirements in your back ground are:
- Demonstration and strong examples of category management within a large organisation
- A Degree
- Excellent stakeholder management, with strong examples of managing conflict.
- A background in the banking sector
You will have managed suppliers of banking cards, these will include Visa or MasterCard. Within this niche area of spend you will be credible and have the drive to challenge stakeholders.
High Street Brand
£38,000 to £43,000 + excellent package.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
