Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse manager to join a successful and growing retail company in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This role will see you managing a 35,000 Sq ft warehouse including all goods in and goods out, supervision of up to 45 staff, facilities, inventory and customer services.
Your duties will include:
- Planing staffing levels and rotas appropriately against work demands.
- Managing the stock and product flow throughout the warehouse operation
- Ensuring that all stock is managed and dispatched quickly, efficiently and effectively
- Implementing monitoring and managing operational KPI's
- Overseeing all customer service activities and developing solutions to any delivery issues
- Development and training of all warehouse staff including annual reviews, training courses and disciplinary matters
You will need to have a successful and demonstrable track record in warehouse management of a similar sized operation as well as experience of running high through put operation with a wide range of SKU's.
This position will suit a well motivated and driven individual who posses strong interpersonal, communication and man management skills. You should have the passion and enthusiasm to motivate a team to produce the best results. Strong IT and WMS skills would be advantageous
