Next Directories choose Microlise for PODs

DHL Supply Chain has installed the Microlise Proof of Delivery system for the 93 vehicles in its Next Directories furnishing division contract.
The hme delivery drivers are guided to each delivery address via an integrated satellite-navigation application running on the mobile data terminal. The Microlise POD application
automatically passes the delivery information to the Sat-Nav application each time the driver selects a destination from the downloaded trip list.
The mobile device is also used as an in-cab phone – with a route specific phonebook being downloaded for each trip.
