It was standing room only on Day Two of IntraLogisteX as inotec led a seminar on how RFID can be used successfully in warehouse and logistics applications, providing detailed comparisons of Auto ID Technologies: Barcode, 2D Code and RFID. IntraLogisteX 2017 got off to a flying start yesterday with buyers crowding in to see the latest developments in robotics, automation and materials handling solutions.
All the exhibition space at IntraLogisteX was sold out months ago and exhibitors reported a strong desire among visitors to see how the latest cutting-edge technology could transform their operations so they stay one step ahead of the competition.
Forklift truck leader Linde is using the show to highlight the work it has been doing in robotics with flexible and cost effective automated pallet trucks.
Cimcorp is exhibiting at IntraLogisteX for the first time showing its MultiPick solution as well as its 3D Shuttle solution for automatic retrieval of plastic crates, totes and trays required for order fulfilment.
Konecranes is focusing on its Agilon modular material inventory and management system. The solution consists of a net portal, a shelving system, user access points and a robot that travels within the shelving unit. It picks the parts requested by the operator, either via the user interface or by data import, and brings them straight to the access point.
