Plans for a 1.2 million sq ft business and distribution park have been submitted for the former Rolls-Royce East Works site at Filton on the outskirts of Bristol.
MSF Filton, a joint venture between Marcol and the St Francis Group, plan 621,093 sq ft of industrial and distribution units and 234,332 sq ft of offices, plus a 99,653 sq ft hotel as well as car dealerships and ancillary space on the 65-acre site.
If the application is successful, it is hoped that work will start on the project by the end of 2015.
Gareth Williams of MSF Filton said: “The delivery of this site is an important part of the economic strategy for the area and will help create a substantial number of new jobs across a range of sectors.”
Rolls-Royce moved from the East Works site to a new custom-built facility across the road in October 2008.
