The Poplars proves popular!

One of Nottingham’s largest distribution buildings currently available has undergone some refurbishment, which Sladen Estates and PMB Holdings are now offering to the market on a leasehold or freehold basis.

Known as The Poplars, the site offers a mix of industrial / warehousing space with ancillary facilities suitable for both light industrial or pure warehousing. The self-contained site, which extends to approximately eight acres, offers a total of 13,300sq m of accommodation, and comprises two interconnecting warehouses and associated offices, canteen and staff facilities.

The specification includes fully sprinklered warehousing, six dock level and two level loading access doors, up to 40m concrete loading yards, expansion land suitable for vehicle parking and an eaves height of 7m and 9.5m. The site also benefits from separate vehicle delivery areas, car parking and a security office with barrier control to the goods yards.

The Poplars is well located in the Lenton Lane Business Area, about one and a half miles from Nottingham city centre. It is adjacent to the ring road providing excellent access to the M1 at junctions 24, 25 and 26.

Mark Hawthorne, of Sladen Estates, says that with the lack of similar sized buildings being immediately available or in the pipeline, the site has already attracted a variety of interest from a number of parties.

The agents for the scheme are Innes England Nottingham and M3 London.
