Retailer adds more hardware for depots

High street retailer Woolworths has been supplied with 30 new 4×2 Volvo FM12 tractor units which will operate at regional distribution centres in the North-west, South-west and South-east. The trucks will transport the full range of Woolworths merchandise, including homewares, children’s clothing and toys, confectionery, and electronic goods, from warehouse to stores. Although the trucks are owned and operated by Woolworths, drivers are provided by Wincanton Logistics, based at Chippenham, Wiltshire.
