De Vere Hotels and Leisure is using foodservice wholesales distributor 3663 First for Foodservice to handle is distribution as part of a new £17M contract. 3663’s Multi-temperature, Frozen, Fresh & Chilled and Logistics divisions will operate the contract for the hotel and leisure group. The contract covers the supply of fresh meat and vegetables, frozen produce and grocery goods to De Vere’s two hotel brands – De Vere Hotels and Village Hotels & Leisure Clubs – as well as to its health and fitness brand, Greens Health & Fitness,.

Quantum Microponents is letting a 2,604sq m warehouse on Fradley Park, the 300-acre distribution and warehouse centre on the A38 near Lichfield becing developed by Evans Property Group.Barry Jones, national installations manager at Quantum Microponents comments: “Fradley Park was the perfect choice for our business. With its proximity to the major motorways, junctions T4 and T5 of the M6 Toll and placement at the heart of the UK distribution network, it was the obvious choice for us.”

Royal Brunei Airlines has appointed Menzies Aviation as its passenger and ramp handling and cabin cleaning services partner in Sydney. The two-year contract covers Royal Brunei’s three Boeing 767-300 flights per week between Brunei-Sydney-Brunei. Ross Marino, managing director of Menzies Aviation in Australia, says: “Winning the Royal Brunei contract in Sydney cements the excellent business relationship we have established with the airline in the region.
