Flexible approach proves a winner

International luxury retailer Harvey Nichols is working in partnership with DTS Logistics as it plans future store expansion as well as major developments in its supply chain operations and systems. DTS, which specialises in pre-retail and garment logistics services, is undertaking the warehousing, pre-retail and distribution contract from its new 10,230sq m dedicated facility at Brackmills, Northampton.

All products sold in stores, excluding fresh food and concession merchandise, is handled by the new warehouse operation. DTS is managing and coordinating deliveries to serve directly the current Harvey Nichols stores in Knightsbridge, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester and, later this year, in Dublin, plus the group’s central London restaurants OXO Tower and Prism.

David Hughes, logistics controller at Harvey Nicholls, says: “We chose to work in partnership with DTS Logistics due to its flexible approach to managing the supply chain and its proven ability to support developments within an expanding high street retail business.”
