Efficiency boost

The addition of AC drive motors – to boost economy, energy efficiency and power – is one of many enhancements to be found on the new SBP10-16N series of pedestrian stackers from Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks. Offered in 1.0, 1.2 and 1.6 tonne capacities, the trucks also boast a highly ergonomic tiller arm, excellent visibility and an extremely compact chassis.

Within this series, there is a wide choice of models suited to different applications as well as a range of capacities and lift heights. The series includes initial lift and straddle leg versions. Stepless lifting and lowering are also available, if required. Every model is ideally suited to its particular stacking function and to carrying loads over horizontal distances of around 50m.

The series comprises:

  • The compact SBP10N and SBP12N, which are ideal for stacking at lift heights up to 3.3m.
  • The SBP16N, a larger model with a maximum lift height of 5.4m and suited for use in supermarkets, in distribution centres and throughout industry.
  • Initial lift models – SBP12NI and SBP16NI – for operation on ramps or uneven floors and for simultaneous handling of two loads.
  • Straddle leg models – SBP12NS and SBP16NS – which can handle bottom-boarded pallets, such as the 1,000 x 1,200 mm UK-pallets.
