Land is getting more expensive

Prime logistics land values has moved up in six out of ten regions across Britain over the past 12 months, says King Sturge.

The general tone of land values for logistics in the West Midlands and South East (not including Heathrow) increased by £100,000 an acre, which in terms of percentage change represented a rise of 20 per cent and nine per cent respectively.

Other notable uplifts took place in Yorkshire and Humberside and the North East where land values increased by 20 per cent and 17 per cent respectively. More modest rises occurred in Wales and the East Midlands.
