New logistics director for Marks & Spencer

Darrell Stein is taking on responsibility for logistics for Marks & Spencer, taking over from Simon Ratcliffe, director of logistics, who is leaving the company.

Mr Stein is adding logistics to his current role as IT director.

Andrew Skinner continues as director of GM planning and supply chain.

The moves are part of a shake up of senior management at the retailer that sees Sir Stuart Rose take over as executive chairman in June, when Lord Burns stands down.

Sir Stuart said: “We have reviewed the senior management structure and have made a number of changes to streamline the organisation. We congratulate the directors moving into new roles and would like to thank those leaving the company for the very significant contributions they have made. They leave with our good wishes.”
