Abbey joins Pallet Track

Liverpool-based Abbey Logistics has become the latest addition to the Pallet-Track distribution network.

Abbey, which operates, more than 300 trucks and 400 trailers, will handle all consignments in WA postcode area – delivering outgoing pallets to Pallet-Track’s Wolverhampton distribution hub where incoming loads will also be collected.

Steve Granite, managing director at Abbey Logistics, said: “We wanted a network that shared our passion for high standards and efficiency and believe we’ve found that with Pallet-Track. The move into a nationwide pallet distribution network was the next logical step for it because it will complement our warehouse facilities in the area. Abbey can now offer everything from a quarter pallet to over-sized pallet distribution, which strengthens our offering.”

Abbey Logistics is the sixth member to join the network in as many months. Nigel Parkes, founder and managing director of the 90+-member Pallet-Track network, added: “Abbey Logistics has a fantastic reputation for green solutions within the industry and we’re only too happy to be taking the organisation on board as a member.”
